Happy Easter! Praise God -- HE IS ALIVE!!!

He is ALIVE!!!!
Happy Easter!

This morning Elizabeth and I were having a converstation about what is the most important holiday.

Elizabeth:  Mom, I think Christmas is really the most important holiday.
Me:  Hmmmm....... Why do you think that, honey?
Elizabeth AND Micah:  Mom, Jesus was B...O...R...N!!!!
Elizabeth:  We couldn't have Easter without Jesus being BORN!!!
Me:  I see your point BUT I would never have salvation without Easter.
Elizabeth:  Well, your right about that BUT He still had to be born!

Elizabeth decorating one of her eggs.

    LOVE that girl :)

Last night while I was busy getting some last minute things for Easter AND for our trip at Meijer, Matt colored eggs with ALL of the kids.  NO -- I do not think I was missing out ;)  I LOVE looking at the pictures -- and seeing the BEAUTIFUL creations BUT I'm ok that I missed it!  Yet, thrilled they all had fun!

All six getting ready to decorate!

Elizabeth concentrating HARD on her creating.

Hanna decorating --- she is very artistic and enjoys doing this type of stuff!  Although, this was the first time to do Easter eggs!

Hanna and JM showing off some of their creations.

The girlies :)

The Easter Bunny -- YES, we have fun and celebrate this way, too!!! Although, the kids TOTALLY understand WHY we have this holiday!!!  Anyway, the Easter Bunny brought some baskets BUT did not hide them this year :)

Our church had a special Easter Sunday service.  The music was WONDERFUL!!

AND

The true meaning/understanding of Easter was preached.  WOW -- if you would like to experience what we heard please go to the following link and listen http://www.shelbyroad.com/.

Christ was sent to this earth to live as a man -- He lived a PERFECT life --- was betrayed and crucified on a cross --- THANKFULLY, He arose from the dead on the third day.  He was the perfect sacrifice for my sins AND yours, too.  Don't miss the free gift He offers you.

AFTER church, we enjoyed finding eggs around the house.

SOME -- real eggs and some with $$$$.

BaJabs has ONE real and ONE with money!

A big $$ egg was found on the hamster cage!

Yes,even in the heat ducts!!
No worries, it was a $$ one ;)

OF COURSE, we enjoyed a few PEEPS!!!  Hanna has NEVER tasted them.

She actually LIKED them ;)

We enjoyed a wonderful meal at my mom and dads.  The food was yummy and the company was pretty good, as well :)  We did not stay as long as I would like BECAUSE we needed to get home and finish -- well, start getting packed for vacation as we are pulling out SUPER early!!!

Happy Easter to ALL from the Woller family!

Yes,
Funky Hair Night!!!

We have some CRAZY girlies!!

Our church has AWANA.  The girls attend and learn many verses in their books, play games and learn more about God.  Periodically, they have EXTRA fun nights!

Last year, we forgot!!!!

SO --

This year we did some extra work to do it up!!!

Elizabeth with LOTS of braids and hair pretties!!

BaJabs with her hair UP, all tied with lots and lots of hair ties.

My Darling with her hair pulled back and made into a birds nest for a Peep WITH gummy worms added to the sides ;)

Happy Birthday Hanna

Happy 17th Birthday to Hanna ---

We celebrate her birthday in more of an American style :)
BUT -- her birthday fell during the week on a day we could NOT arrange for all the family to be there --

ALTHOUGH

We could not let it go without any celebration ---
SO -- I made some adorable cupcakes :)

They were SOOOOOOOO YUMMY!!!

2 days later we celebrated Woller style :)

When it is your birthday, in our home, you get to decide the meal -- well, Hanna decided on an all Korean meal -- bulgogi (Korean barbecue), rice and dumplings.  This is an absolutely DELCIOUS MEAL!!!

She invited one of her good friends over to help celebrate and get her accustom to Korean food as Ms. J is going Korea this summer to spend 6 week with Hanna.  Other Nanny and Pa also came to help us celebrate!

Gift time :)

Of course, she needs to have some Michigan items to remember her time in the U.S.

Her choice for dessert was homemade ice cream with homemade hot fudge but NO cake!!!

Happy Birthday Hanna -- we hope you enjoyed celebrating your 17th in the U.S.!

Other Pa :)

Pa picking up the girls!

Unfortunatley, with Elizabeth's surgery complications, Matt was not able to make it back to take the girls to the SRBC date night.

THANKFULLY, we thought ahead and had Pa on stand-by ;)

He was such a good sport -- and the girls helped him out!

They still got all dressed up.

 BaJabs looking beautiful!

My Darling looking Radiant :)

Pa picked them up and dropped them AT the door.

They enjoyed a nice meal and fun activites.

I LOVED when My Darling and I talked after she got home!
"Mom, Pa was such a gentleman!"

They have all been promised an EXTRA date night with thier dad when Elizabeth is feeling better and mobile ;)

New Members in the Family :)

NO -- it is NOT what you think!!!!!

Although,

I did swear I would NEVER have animals IN the house

If any of you know me -- well, I am a bit picky!!!
I do NOT like smells or messes!!!
Animals do BOTH!!

BUT

I decided to surprise the kids and do this!!!

I had a FB friend that was looking for a new home for some lizards.  She actually stated:   I have two leopard geckos that I want to give away including their habitat & everything they need. They are not really "pets" that you would handle but they are fun to watch, especially when they stalk insects. Easy care. They eat wax worms, but they prefer crickets.

AND I thought.....

'The boys would LOVE this.....and it is the perfect price!'

BUT

I did not KNOW what they REALLY were!!!

Her husband came to deliver them at school -- yes, they were even delivered to me -- he said, "Why don't I bring them down to the farm.  It is a bit heavy."  I'm thinking --- 'Really??? What is so heavy about a little plastic aquariaum and 2 little lizards?'
BUT
I said, "Sure, that would be nice.  I'll call Matt to let him know you are coming."

Well, I'm a bit uneducated with these things BUT I did score BIG points!!!!

The boys could NOT believe I actually did this!!!
They LOVE them!!!

About a month later another friend posted that her daughter had outgrown her guinea pig and was looking to find a new home -- everything included.

Yes, once again I thought .....

My Darling is ASKING and BEGGING for this.  She has even written a persuasive essay about getting a guinea pig for a pet.  It is top on her list for Christmas AND her birthday -- hmmm..... this is the perfect price to try it out!

SO,

The animal was delivered to me at school! WOW -- even delivered!!!

I brought him home ---

SURPRISE!!!!

Yes, I surprised her and made her close her eyes!!!

AS

I carried him into the house.

She is a tad bit surprised!

Junie has now entered out home!

He is very LOVED!!!

The smell is not always great -- and you have to get used to the squeaks -- but all in all not too bad -- as long as I don't have to take care of them!!!

Cleaning the cage -- the least favorite thing to do!!!

Welcome to the family -- critters!

Yes, they even try to dress him.  He wiggles out after a bit ;)

Thank-you FB friends for providing our family with pets I NEVER would of done without you!

Surprise -- Wedding

My baby brother gets MARRIED!!!
Really -- he's NOT a baby ;)

BUT

We are all so excited for him!!!

He's older -- yet found a wonderful, godly and beautiful woman --
SO -- he snatched her up!!!

He asked her to marry him on Friday and married her one week later!
WOW!!!!

She wanted to get married out by the lighthouse --- yes, it is NOVEMBER!

My bother with his buddies!
Both friends since childhood, who have prayed for him and supported him through many of lives turmoils!
I love that both could make it work to be here --- one is the pastor and the other the best man!

My parents with my brother BEFORE the wedding!

They are checking out where to have the ceremony.
It was snowing and misty until the exact time the wedding was to start!

Thank-you, Lord for answering our prayers!

Monica with her dad.

Josh waiting to get his brides hand.

The vows!

The newly married couple.

Beautiful!

I am THRILLED God has blessed my brother in this new chapter of his life.  I have prayed and prayed for him.  His life is completely changed.  Yes, he is still my fun, crazy, creative and passionate brother BUT completely sober!!!!  God is amazing -- HE does change lives!!!

Yes, we have a middle sister BUT on short notice she was not able to fly in!
This summer when we have a reception she will join us :)

Josh and Monica,
I pray this season of life continues to draw you closer to each other and to HIM.  I am excited to see each of you try new things -- Josh I can't wait to see you swing dance -- Monica I pray you love sking like Josh, well -- at least a bit like Josh!!!  I pray that you find many common interests -- and grow together as a couple.  I pray for the continued 'balance' I see between you -- Monica's calm and joyful spirit with Josh's passionate yet, sometimes loud and spicy ;) spirit! I pray God's richest blessings in your marriage!

I LOVE you both!
Congratulations!!!
