Grandparents Day PLAYS

The spring time holds many activities for our family!!!
Grandparents Day is a big one for our children at their school.
Every child at the school has a grandparent OR an important adult come for lunch.
The catered lunch is very nice and is served family style to everyone.
AFTER the lunch the kids perform TWO separate play performances.
This year the kindergarten thru fourth grade performed

THE OLD TESTAMENT FAST FORWARD

AND the fifth grade thru eighth grade performed

RETURN OF THE GLASS SLIPPER

both groups did a fantastic job!!

They performed the plays again in the evening for parents and friends.

My Darling performed a Liturgical Dance to the song God Calling

She absolutely LOVED wearing the crown of flowers on her head :)

OF COURSE, she did it perfectly!

BaJabs was a bumblebee in the song Who Built the Ark?

CUTE!!!

My Darling also had a duet with her friend 'G.K.'

I THINK I got it all on video -- I will TRY to upload later :)  They did AWESOME!

BaJabs was also a member of a village in the song The King is Good.

My Darling did some great singing in the full choir as well.

JM was a villager in the play AND the choir.  He did a great job!

He LOVED the MANscara and GUYliner -- HAHAH

LOVE that smile :)

Many of the performers right BEFORE the wedding.

It was a fun night -- LATE -- but fun.  MD was unable to attend as we went to the WHITECAPS baseball game with the youth group.
