Can it really be just the third day??
Really -- she had an amputation less then 3 days ago!!
Doctor was in and said once PT signed off we would be able to go home!
EXCITING!!!
BUT ...... the pain started shortly after AND we had issues getting on top of it.
There was actually tears today. Yep, we have not seen many.
We made it to dose time, took a shower (interesting), and got ready for the day.
The pain meds kicked in and she was doing great. She loves playing MaJong on my Ipad AND playing the piano.
We toured around a bit. Went to the gift shop. Yes, SHOP!!
She picked out red sun glasses, a watch and a new ring. YES, she loves accessories -- hmmmmm....... who is she like????
We came back to the room and she played a bit on her v-tec but decided she wanted to sleep.
1 1/2 hour nap
They took out the IV -- and she got to eat lunch on her own.
Shortly after lunch we had some pain issues BUT cuddled and we both fell asleep.
When we woke-up it was med time AND we made it for just using oral meds all day AND PT came!!!
So, we could go home!!!
Matt arrived shortly after ---
AND this is immediately what she gives him -- cute attitude :)
We left the hospital at 5:00 pm.
She was styling as we left --
She opened a nice card from my aunt once we got in the car ---
she sent her a bracelet -- yep, she loves it :)
BUT quickly fell asleep.

She giggles every time she is carried -- yep, that's often.

Sporting new Hello Kitty rain boots -- that she will wear all the time :)
BaJabs came home from a birthday party as a puppy dog :) AND everyone thought they should cuddle with mom. I know it's precious BUT I'm really exhausted and a bit overwhelmed. BUT they didn't know it :)
Elizabeth and I actually fell asleep in the chair after some wonderful asparagus AND homemade potato soup compliments of my mother-in-law!!
She finally went to bed after the last dose of meds -- of course, in mommy and baba's bed.
She is just so precious!!!
REALLY -- she hardly complains. The pain is usually on her face and then she whines a bit or thrashes around.
She prays -- that there is no more ouchies. We pray for no more pain -- please join us.
The rest of the family is healing. JM is back to solids that all stay down. MD is on the mend and even helped at the farm this evening. My cold is a tad better BUT I'm really tired. The girls really miss me when I'm gone. My Darling has been having nightmares -- BaJabs well -- she just wants to be close!!
It's all pretty normal -- but some calmness with lots of cuddles is on track for tomorrow. Probably pj's most of the day. My mom is bringing dinner!!! So, really NOTHING for tomorrow.
We are so THRILLED to be HOME!
